We’ve beaten off stiff competition to become the only UK finalist in a worldwide start-up event

Unforgettable’s life- changing dementia products are being talked about all over the world, earning us a place in the final round of a prestigious global competition.

More than 30,000 voters and a team of expert judges have selected Unforgettable as one of only five finalists in a competition to find the world’s best new innovators in the ageing market.

Entrants had to explain how their business would benefit older people around the world. Judges spent hours reviewing Unforgettable’s products and mission – to improve the lives all of those affected by dementia – before making their choice.

Aging2.0 brings together early stage companies, like Unforgettable, who are creating technologies to support older people. Its annual startup competition is one of the many ways it encourages innovation in ageing, and attracts huge interest across the globe from small businesses with big ideas all focused on helping older people to live well.

The competition final will take place in San Francisco in November during Aging2.0’s Optimise Conference. Unforgettable founder James Ashwell has been invited to attend and present a final pitch to the judges. ‘We are so proud to have got through to the final of such a prestigious event,’ says James. ‘The calibre of startups we were up against was deeply impressive and we are delighted and humbled to have been selected.’

The other four finalists are from the US, Canada and Israel. The winner will receive a 10,00$ cash prize.
